Arvind Sharma

Welcome to my website!

I am currently an Assistant Professor of the Practice in Applied Economics at Woods College of Advancing Studies, Boston College. I am actively engaged with students in the MS Applied Economics and MS Applied Analytics programs (course offering in MSAE and MSAA).

I hold a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from Northeastern University. My research interest lies in empirical Microeconomics and includes topics in Industrial Organization, Labor/Development Economics, and Finance.

Also, I have been working as an instructor in the Boston-Cambridge area since the summer of 2019.

Before my doctoral studies, I earned a Master of Science degree in Applied Economics from Boston College, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Finance from the University of Hong Kong.

In my free time, I like to travel. Otherwise, I spend my time in Yoga.
